After many years of keeping my intake of new work limited due to extreme backlogs, I am now able to accept new requests for restorations.   After I have completed this next batch of pianos I will be switching to having one piano in the shop with one piano waiting in the wings.  (Up to now, I have been restoring five to six pianos at a time.)  All other projects will be taken by name and contact information.  When an opening comes up, you will be offered a chance at this restoration shop on a first come first served basis.  No money will be asked of anyone except the owners whose pianos are in the shop and waiting in the wings.  To prevent the spammers from finding my email address I have established my primary email address as unrelated to the piano business, you must also copy and paste the address into your own email program for the same reason; putting off the spammers.  Please forgive any inconvenience this may cause you.  If I hyperlink it, that will set the spammers off again.  FYI:  I only take on full restorations of good to great pianos and of player pianos and orchestions.  Costs for rebuilding here will run between $30,000 and $40,000 but that involves tasks no other rebuilder in the country offers to my knowledge.  This price is less than half what you would pay to buy a new piano of similar quality.  In fact, some of the things I do to pianos can only be had in new pianos in the $250,000.00 range.
